Starting at 9:00 PM, we'll pick you up from your hotel, house, or apartment—or from the restaurant where you're having dinner—to begin the excursion. We'll confirm the exact pick-up time the day before. In December and January, the departure time is 10:00 PM. We'll travel approximately 30 km along Provincial Route No. 11 to Estancia La Catalina, a perfect spot for stargazing due to its distance from all light pollution.
10:00 PM · Sky observation with telescopes
Upon arrival at the lodge, we'll begin the main activity. The guide will give a brief introductory talk on astronomy, and then the astronomer will guide you on how to observe the sky and use the telescope: the Milky Way, nebulae, stars, constellations, and mythology. In addition to observing the Moon, planets, and deep-sky objects, you'll learn how to find the cardinal directions using the stars and discover the mythology of various indigenous peoples of the Americas.

Coffee shop and dessert table
After enjoying the experience, a coffee and dessert table service is offered: a variety of teas, coffees, and yerba mate, along with alfajores, puddings, and muffins with dulce de leche. A gluten-free option is available with prior notice.
